MATERIALS NEEDED:

• Band-Aid brand band-aid
• Dark room

INSTRUCTIONS: Take the band-aid into the dark room. Turn off the light, and keep your eyes aimed at the band-aid as you open it. Watch it glow!

QUESTIONS:

Will other brands of band-aids glow too?

Does the temperature of the room affect the glow?

RESEARCH:

See if you can discover what makes the glow. Write the the manufacturer to see what information they can give you. Where else might this occur?
