Stacy is in her fourth year of presenting science programs at schools. These presentations have allowed her to merge two of her favorite things: TEACHING and SCIENCE!

Stacy's teaching experience ranges from several years of teaching Mathematics at two universities to teaching robotics and engineering to elementary and middle school students for several years. In Stacy's own words, "I love teaching others about things I love.  Students in my university classes often commented that my enthusiasm over the subject of Math made it much more enjoyable and easier to understand. Music to a teacher's ears! Over the years I have come to love the excitement in students' eyes when they finally have math or science or anything else explained to them in a way that makes them understand and feel as excited about it as I am!"

Stacy's science experience includes work as a computer programmer and mathematician in the fields of aerospace, geology, and climatology. This gave great opportunities to rub shoulders with a wide variety of scientists and engineers, and to learn to see the world from a wider perspective!

Stacy offers a unique, broad scientific perspective and the ability to explain principles in an easy-to-grasp style. She aims to help students (and teachers and anyone else!) recognize science all around us, and encourage us all to think like a scientist!
